How a turn works
An action. "Climb through the vent." The narrator writes what happens.
Dialogue. Whatever you type, your character says out loud.
Take the pen for a beat: the storm, the arrival, the betrayal. Then hand it back.
What the narrator writes
Type a line like "you are the harbour master and I am the smuggler who owes you money" and the world answers in a paragraph. From there you write what you do or say, in your own words, and it bends around you. There are no menus of choices and no scripted branches to find.

Why it is different from character chat sites
Most roleplay sites hand you a directory of thousands of bots made by other people, and the good ones are buried. Glimora has no directory. You describe the character and the situation in a sentence and it exists, which means you are never limited to what someone else uploaded.
Memory is the other difference. Facts you establish stay in view for thousands of words, and story cards pin the ones that must never be forgotten: a name, a debt, a wound that has not healed.
What it will and will not do
Mature themes are welcome. Violence, dread, betrayal, romance and flirtation are all treated like adult fiction rather than something to be steered away from.
